- A valid passport if you have an old-style paper provisional driving licence.
- If you forget or do not have the green plastic photocard licence, your test will not proceed, and you will lose the test fee and any other charges incurred, such as using the instructor’s car.
- DVSA appointment letter or email confirmation.

Short Notice Driving Test Dates
Waiting months for a driving test can be frustrating, especially when you are ready to take it.
Thanks to our extensive network of driving instructors, we can arrange a short-notice driving test date, usually within a week or, in some cases, within 24 hours.
For us to obtain a short-notice test date, you must already have a test date booked.
To book through us, you will need to provide the following information:
- A photo of your provisional licence, or
- Full name
- Full postal address
- Contact details
- Driving licence number
- Theory test certificate number
- Current test booking reference number
- Current test date, time, and test centre
If you have a short-notice test and have approached us from another driving school, we reserve the right to withhold the use of the school car for the test if, in the opinion of our driving instructor, you are not ready to take it. You may incur costs for any lessons booked and using the school car.
Within our extensive network of instructors, we can usually accommodate pupils who have booked a short-notice test.
